TENFOLD ACADEMY / Claude Code

For Developers

Use coding agents inside a disciplined engineering workflow, with project context, tests and human control.

For Developers and engineering teams working with an approved repository and review owner.

Imagine the work

Make something. Then make it better.

A possible exercise and the kind of review it invites. Your actual case is selected for the programme and approved data boundary.

Illustrative practice artifact

ACADEMY / PRACTICE06

Reviewable change pack

Bounded task
Validate a missing input and return a useful error. Keep the change inside the approved training repository.
Review evidence
Plan, diff, relevant tests, regression result and a note explaining the access boundary.
Acceptance
A teammate can inspect the change and reproduce the test. Production release still needs the client’s normal approval.

The session sequence

How the learning unfolds.

This is the working sequence. Timing, depth and the number of sessions are configured for your team.

  1. 01

    Prepare

Agree a repository, environment, permissions and safe tasks.

  2. 02

    Contextualise

Capture architecture, conventions and commands in a project-context pack.

  3. 03

    Build

Plan, implement, debug, refactor or document a bounded change.

  4. 04

    Verify

Run tests and static checks, examine threats and complete human code review.

  5. 05

    Operationalise

Turn effective patterns into team standards and an adoption backlog.

Curriculum

Go one level deeper.

Expand each module to see what the practice covers. Modules and exercises are selected and configured for the agreed audience and work.

01Agentic development mental model

Understand delegation, context, tool use and the limits of agent autonomy.

02Repository context and instructions

Describe architecture, conventions and the commands an agent should use.

03Planning and task decomposition

Break a change into reviewable steps with explicit acceptance conditions.

04Build, refactor, debug and document

Practise on a bounded task in the agreed stack and environment.

05Tests, evaluation, review and regression

Show the evidence a reviewer needs and check that existing behaviour still works.

06Tools, skills, agents and commands

Choose and constrain tools to fit the task and team workflow.

07Security, secrets and destructive actions

Set permissions and boundaries; protect credentials and control risky operations.

08Team standards, CI/CD and handover

Connect agent work to existing review, release and observability practices.

09Bounded repository lab

Deliver a reviewable change, then repeat the method on a second task.

More than the session

For the learner. For the organisation.

The work produced and the ability to repeat it matter more than attendance alone. We agree the artifacts and evidence for your programme.

Participant pack

Start page

Purpose, schedule, access checklist, safe-use rules and what to bring.

Work Artifact Kit

Relevant templates, cases, instructions and review rubrics.

Work to take forward

A reviewed artifact, useful corrections and an agreed next practice.

Sponsor pack

Sponsor Evidence Pack

Participation, work produced, barriers, manager feedback and next recommendations.

Practice Loop

A workplace challenge, feedback and a second attempt; office hours and follow-up are included when contracted.

A practical next decision

Continue practice, scope a repeatable workflow or stop where further work is not justified.

Beyond the session

Try it in your work.

Apply the method to a bounded backlog item. Bring friction, review notes and test evidence to an optional office hour or team-standards clinic.

What good looks like

The team can repeat the method on a second task with review and test evidence, and explain how it fits the existing development lifecycle.

Ready to take part

Prepare the work, not just the room.

Development experience and an approved repository are expected. The client provides paid tool access, environments, engineering leads and security review. Credentials and production-release authority remain with the client.

SMC prepares
Programme design, facilitation, exercises, starter assets, review method and sponsor synthesis.
Your sponsor prepares
Objectives, participants, relevant cases, manager involvement and ownership of next actions.
Your IT / operations team prepares
Devices, venue, approved accounts, access or installation permissions, data rules and local support.

Plan it around your team

Let’s shape the programme.

Tell us the audience, the work and your constraints. We agree depth, duration, group size, tools, follow-through and commercial scope in the proposal.
